Welcome to Monka Photography, newborn and family photography studio in Athy, Co. Kildare! Please read the terms and conditions carefully before booking your session.
€50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required on booking to secure the date and time of your session. In exceptional circumstances we can reschedule but you must notify me before your session. If you won’t show up to your session, the deposit is gone.
The remaining session fee (depending on your chosen collection) must be paid on the day of the photo session by cash or bank transfer. Online gallery will not be available until the fee has been paid in full.
While the session is taking place you may NOT use your mobile phone or personal camera to take pictures or record videos.
The photographer will do her best to get your children to engage and smile but is NOT responsible if children don’t cooperate.
Due to the nature of the subjects of the photographs taken during your photoshoot, Monka Photography cannot guarantee any particular outcomes or guarantee the fulfilment of any specific requests.
All images remain the copyright of the photographer, and customers receive a license for personal use only.
Online gallery will be ready to view within 2 weeks from the date of your session and will be active for 1 week. You will see around 30 edited photos taken during your session and you will choose your favourite images there. Alternatively, you can visit my studio for a viewing appointment and select your images in person.
If Monka Photography cannot do the session due to photographer’s illness or emergency, the photographer will do her best to arrange a new session date or will return any deposit paid.
If the photographic materials taken during the session are damaged, then the photographer will arrange a new session date or will return any fee paid.
Additional digital photos can be purchased at €10 each. If ordering additional photos they have to be paid for at the time of ordering. No part of any order will be delivered until the order balance has been paid in full.
All images produced by Monka Photography have been done so with the use of colour calibrated monitors to meet printing standards. The Photographer is not responsible for the quality/cropping of prints ordered from anywhere other than Monka Photography.
In the unlikely event of any injury during a session, the Photographer shall be held harmless for any and all injury to client or any member of the family during the course of the photography session and the immediately surrounding events.
The client is obligated to control minor children and will be held responsible for full replacements costs of any damaged items, props or equipment.
It is highly recommended that clients immediately back-up any digital files. If the Client loses or damages their digital images, Monka Photography will not by liable for such loss or damage and will not replace lost or damaged files.
If photos are displayed on social media platforms, please add “Photos by Monka Photography” somewhere visible on the photo or on the information tab beside each single photo. Please do not add filters to the pictures or alter them in any other way.
