I’m Monika, the person behing the camera in Monka Photography.

I’ve been photographing newborn for the past 10 years, and their safety and comfort are my first priority. I love to capture simple photos where your baby is the main subject.

Newborn photographs are a wonderful reminder of the first days with your baby and I’d be honoured if you choose me to capture those important moments.

Because They’re Only This Little for a Little While

Welcoming a new baby into your life is one of the most special moments you’ll ever experience. My newborn photography sessions are designed to capture the story of your first days together, creating beautiful photographs for you to cherish forever.

Ideally, newborn photos are taken within the first two weeks when babies are still sleepy and easy to pose.
What to expect during newborn photography session with me:

Cosy, warm studio fully prepared for your baby
A selection of wraps, tiny outfits, backdrops and props
Safe posing and plenty of time for soothing, feeding and cuddles
Parents and siblings photos on a plain backdrop

€50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the photoshoot.

Additional digital photos are available for €10 each.
Returning customers receive 2 complimentary digital photographs with any package.

The newborn photography Experience

Welcoming a new baby is a beautiful yet busy time, and I want to make your newborn photography experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
From the moment you book your session to the day you receive your precious images, I’ll guide you every step of the way.
Here’s how it works:

Contact Me

Complete the contact form below including your due date and any special requests you might have for your session.

Secure Booking

I’ll pencil in your due date, and you can secure your booking by paying a €50 deposit and signing an online contract.

Baby’s Arrival

Once your little one is born, contact me asap to set an exact date for your session and fill out a short questionnaire.

Photoshoot Day

Relax and enjoy. My sessions are completely baby-led, which means I go at your little one’s pace with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and soothing.

Photo Selection

After the session, I select and edit the best images. Around a week after your session, you’ll receive a link to a private online gallery to view and select your favourite images.

Receiving Photos

Digital images are delivered shortly after you’ve made your selection, and if included, printed photos will be ready for collection in 4-5 weeks.
